8″ dia. x 11″ tall

WOOD:
Select #1 grade pine. If you don’t mind the look of knots in your project use a lower cost #2 grade of lumber.
One 1X8 x 12″ long
2X6 x 12″ long
One 12″ x 24″ piece of 1/2″ plywood, exterior grade good one or two sides, preferably 5-ply for better stability.

SAW:
Hand held sabre saw with smooth cutting non-chipping blade

PAINT:
White water based primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:

SEALER:
High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer for outdoor protection (#POLYQT)

OTHER SUPPLIES:
Mason Jar- One 6-3/4″ tall, quart size
Bracket- One aluminium pop can
